Been playing for less than a year but wanted to give online a shot. It seems like every time I stumble upon the poker forum, I see PPP post a bad beat. Seeing that most complain about the r in rng meaning rigged, which site should I join? I would like the advice of those who already play online. Thanks.

Poker Stars is hands down the best IMO. Everything from most options to fastest withdrawls to best customer service, etc, etc, etc.

Thanks guys, ill prolly be siting at the $1/2 dollar tables. My friend has PS and I dont like it one bit. Out of 6 people who were at the table, 3 of them made it to the showdown, all with pocket pairs. I mean, I know it happens but god damn every time I get dealt KKs the bb gota have AAs. IDK but im lookin to pull a Phil Ivey on FTP. What would you recomend for $1/2 limits? Thanks

Don't play online poker.
The only big winners recently have been the sites themselves.
The problem is these sites face no legal repercussions if they are found to be operating dishonestly.
Not a single person was brought to justice in the AP/UB scandal.
Just don't play online.
The sites are a total joke.
Anyone with half a brain will realize that they don't deal truly random cards.

Anyone who says the games are rigged are just losing players. Learn to attack dry pots, check wet boards in multi way pots with over pairs, and hand read. To many of you guys are playing your cards instead of your opponents hands.

Less than a year of poker playing and you wanna play 1/2 (200NL) online and on Poker Stars? I suggest you start at 10NL to see if you can win before moving up to the next level. Need to play 25K+ hands at 10NL before you can tell if you are a winning player at 10NL or not.

Been playing online for 3 years. Online games aren't rigged. Over 500K hands played, things even out in the long run ( you end up being on both sides of bad beats equally). You win money at poker by playing against players who are worse than you. Finding bad players (table selecting) is very important.

what do you use for table selecting?

also, being on equal sides of bad beats doesn't explain for the extraordinary amount of bad beats there is. honestly, i talk shit about full tilt, but more or less i trust it. pokerstars is ridiculous to me, though. maybe i'm wrong but i personally can't play comfortably on there because i don't trust it for shit. too simple and sensible for these sites to be rigged.
